Khadija Khan (she/her) is a producer, writer, and community-builder who has produced documentaries and narrative films in Cape Town, South Africa; Washington, DC; and London, UK.

Her most recent projects include Ashley Walter’s directorial debut ANIMOL (Joi Productions, backed by BFI, Film4, and Sky) and GRACE & SOPHIE which she produced on a microbudget and has since premiered at BFI Flare, been publicly broadcast across the UK, and secured a global VOD distribution deal with NQV Media. Her work focuses on LGBTQ+ storytelling, having been an activist for decades.

Previously, Khadija ran Doc Society's Queer Now Labs and programmes for global queer and trans filmmakers. Khadija also managed international LGBTQ+ advocacy and ran a queer Muslim youth program at Advocates for Youth.

She holds a Msc in Empires, Colonialism, & Globalisation from LSE and a BA in Justice & Peace Studies from Georgetown University. She is a published author with works exploring race, queer activism, global south histories and music.
